About the role:

Lead the Rainforest Discovery Centre display and exhibition program development. Be the driver of efficient and effective administration of the centre and be responsible for the Centre’s operations and services and selected events. Provide professional advice to volunteers, staff and the community in regard to environmental issues.

About you:

You’ll have a passion for environmental education and a natural ability to connect with the community.  You’ll have strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to supervise others and create positive relationships with community groups and volunteers. Availability to work Friday, Saturday and Sunday is absolutely essential. 

Additionally, you will have a tertiary qualification in Environmental Education, Social Sciences or related discipline. You’ll have experience in the development of exhibition and display materials in the delivery of thematic interpretation.  Experience in managing community volunteer programs is also required.
