The Role

Broadspectrum is recruiting an Arboriculture Inspector to carry out multiple assessments such as Visual Tree Assessments and Visual Park Assessments while having an understanding of the environmental needs of the Mornington Peninsula. You will be a natural leader and strive to deliver exceptional results. Furthermore, you will be responsible for:

• Principle work area vegetation inspecting and reporting
• Assist in the planning, quotation and reporting of current and future works
• Assist in the day-to-day running of works, including the allocation and monitoring of works to subcontractors and other related duties as required
• Investigate and process allocated Service Requests within time frames specified
• Be able to communicate and liaise with the client and their customers in a courteous, professional manner
• Assist with report writing and data entry if required
• Participate in safety inspections and audits
• Assist in the induction and training of new or relocated employees

Requirements

• Previous experience in a similar position
• Proven experience or trade/tertiary qualification (i.e. Certificate IV) in arboriculture or related field will be essential
• Construction Induction Card (White Card/Red Card)
• Current Victorian Drivers Licence (Manual);
• Level 2 Work Place First Aid Certification;
• Farm Chemical Users Certification;
• Level 2 Chainsaw Certifications (Fallers)
• Cert II ESI
• Road Traffic Control Certification
• Experience in fire management
• Medium Rigid/Heavy Rigid Truck License
• Understanding of natural resource management on the Mornington Peninsula.
