About us:
Hazeldenes is a leading Central Victorian food manufacturer, with a vertically integrated supply chain including world best technology. We are currently seeking an experienced Grain & Corporate Services Manager to join our corporate/farming teams. The role works closely with the Farming General Manager and is responsible for:
- Identifying feed matters, including the efficient and cost effective supply of raw material for animal feed.
- Providing management of a range of corporate services, including (but not limited to) insurance, negotiation of utilities, land usage and property management.
Ensuring that the organisational objectives are met whilst adhering to Hazeldenes’ regulatory and compliance requirements will be integral to your success in the role.
About you:
To be considered for this role you must be committed to safety in the workplace as we pride ourselves on our Zero Harm goal. You must also possess two or more of the following:
- A degree or diploma in an accountancy/economics discipline and at least 5 years’ experience (with at least two years in a managerial role), preferably in the manufacturing/agricultural industry
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in farming, food manufacturing and/or poultry would be advantageous
- Previous experience in financial auditing and experience in legislation and regulatory standards
- Knowledge of grain purchasing, handling or growing, feed formulation or feed milling
- Experience with quality and continuous improvement systems, including development of such systems
- Flexibility with work rosters.

- As a Manager you will have open and honest reporting ethos, strong time management and organisational skills
- You will lead by example, and be dedicated to achieving a positive organisational culture in line with company values,
- You must be proactive in taking positive actions and be willing to undertake further training to enhance and improve your skills and knowledge base.
