The company
Riverina Fresh Pty Ltd is an Australian independently owned dairy manufacturer with its head office based in Wagga Wagga, NSW. Renowned for producing the award winning and iconic Riverina Fresh brand of milk and a range of other fresh dairy products, the business is entering an exciting phase of development. The business has a strong presence in specialty coffee in VIC, NSW and the ACT as well as a retail footprint across the Riverina and NSW with a wide range of engaged customers.
About the Role
As a key member of the team, the role of production & Planning Manager will report to the Site Manager and will assume the critical role of developing and implementing all aspects of the manufacturing schedule.
You will have primary responsibility for generating accurate forecasting to an accurate 12-week forecast to help determine product requirement, raw ingredients and packaging requitements. On a daily and weekly basis, you will provide a manufacturing plan for Riverina Fresh’s products which will be used to reconcile against labour and output to ensure production optimisation between customer and shelf life requirements. You will have a direct and accountable impact on the Company’s performance.
Skills & Experience
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Production and planning skills, ideally around dairy but not essential
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to think ‘big picture’ to encompass the entire planning and S&OP process
- Exceptional communication, relationship and stakeholder skills
- Ideally formal qualifications in production planning or related disciplines
- Planning ERP experience
- A high level of attention to detail and time management
