An integral part of the Tasmania Leadership Team, the Farm Manager will work closely with the Regional Manager and Farm Management teams across all sites in Tasmania with a strong focus on efficiencies.
About the Role
The main focus of this role is to ensure that all farm operations, financial objectives and production is carried out efficiently, on time and within budget.
Other responsibilities include:
- Building a sustainable operational farm team including irrigation, maintenance, harvest and administration
- Implement benchmarking, cost tracking and savings strategies
- Scheduling of all farm activities with the farm's operations team
- Preparing and maintaining operation reports
About You
To be successful in this role you will have demonstrated experience in a similar role as well as:
- A Degree in Business/Agri-Business
- Business process and change management experience
- Strong leadership skills
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills
- Be self-motivated and enjoy working as part of a team,
- Have excellent communication skills
