Cumberland Plain Seeds undertakes ecological restoration and mine site rehabilitation services, including on ground works and native seed supply, for a range of land manager customers in the upper Hunter Valley.
We are seeking an employee who has:
- knowledge of native plants.
- an interest in environmental restoration.
- and the capacity to fit in with a small team of on ground practitioners.
Activities include:
- Tractor operation,
- weed control,
- sowing,
- seed harvesting,
- and involvement/supervision of weed control work.
Preferred current skills include:
- plant identification,
- machinery operation,
- and bush regeneration experience.
Projects are located across the Hunter Valley and based in Singleton. Suitable pay and conditions can be negotiated in response to relevant skills and experience.
