About the Position:

Reporting to the Livestock Supervisor, your duties within this position include pen riding, diagnosis & treatment of cattle, pen movements, drafting & weighing cattle, stock handling & computerized record keeping

You’ll be physically fit and hard-working with a demonstrated ability to follow directions and work successfully in an efficient production environment. You’ll also have a proven track record of working well to achieve team performance targets and be someone who embraces diversity and is adaptable and willing to learn

Selection Criteria:

  • Competent horse riding skills
  • Own horse (s) and gear (preferable)
  • Good cattle handling skills
  • Able to work in a team environment
  • Have a genuine desire to work in the beef industry
  • Prior livestock industry experience
  • Computer knowledge
  • Need basic English, literacy and numeracy skills.
  • Capacity to follow safe-work procedures in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven history of working well as part of a team.
  • Ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screening.
  • Access to reliable transport.
  • Legal right to work in Australia.
  • Willingness to Learn
