Botanical Resources Australia is looking for a farm assistant to join our farms team. Working across the north and northwest of Tasmania, BRA Farms own and lease a number of cropping properties with a focus on producing high quality vegetable, broad acre and pyrethrum crops. Using modern tractors with low hours, well maintained application equipment, along with a selection of pivot, linear and hard hose irrigators, we aim to produce consistently high yielding quality crops; all within a safe environment.
The ideal candidate will possess the following (preferred not essential); Tractor operation skills, GPS guidance knowledge, cropping experience, mechanical aptitude, and an understanding of irrigation and crop requirements.
This is full time casual position working to a maximum of 60 hrs/pw in peak periods, overtime paid at 1.5 times and may lead to permanent employment for the right candidate. An option for further training is included with the position. Applicant must be able to pass a health assessment and a drug screen.
