Community Housing Limited (CHL) is an innovative national community housing provider which manages sustainable housing for people in need and provides options for those experiencing housing difficulties. We are looking for a committed and capable individual to join our Taree team in providing high quality tenancy and property management in the region.
Your sensitivity and awareness of the needs of people who are in housing crisis, along with your commitment to the right of all people to affordable and sustainable housing, will allow you to deliver high quality services to those seeking housing assistance.
To provide high quality management services you will:
- Ensure fair and transparent property allocation processes
- Undertake a range of tenancy and property management tasks such as tenancy sign ups, inspections, rent reviews etc
- Maintain accurate property and tenancy data
- Liaise with Asset Management Unit in relation to tenanted and vacated property maintenance
- Ensure compliance with both organisational policy and procedure and relevant legislation
- Liaise with government departments, clients, support agencies, and relevant CHL departments
To be successful in this role you will need: A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role; knowledge of the Residential Tenancies Act; demonstrated outstanding customer skills, including understanding issues customers face; the ability to contribute and work collaboratively as a team; excellent communication skills; and a commitment to continuous service improvement, tenant participation and regulatory compliance. This role will also require a current Driver’s Licence.
