About TFCO-C:
Treatment Foster Care Oregon for Children (TFCO-C) is an internationally-proven program that intervenes with children in residential care whose behaviour makes it difficult for foster carers to help them. This program has demonstrated success in transforming children's behaviour, making it possible for children to settle into a stable family environment.
About the Role:
The Foster Carer Recruiter and Trainer is a critical role in the TFCO for Children model. You will focus on carer recruitment, to strengthen the benefit of the model to children and young people entering the program. You will also be accountable for the training and accreditation of TFCO for Children foster carers. You will work closely alongside the TFCO-C Program Supervisor to anticipate, identify and ensure delivery of ongoing carer training and development.

About the Qualifications, Skills & Experience required:
- A Bachelor Degree in Social Work, Psychology or equivalent that is recognised in Australia
- Experience and familiarity with recruiting foster carers within the state of Queensland
- Experience in conducting assessments of foster carers
- Delivered high quality training and support to foster carers
- Knowledge of the Child Protection and Out of Home Care system, standards and practices within Queensland
