About us
Accommodation and Care Solutions (ACARES) is an aged and disability care provider established in 2003. ACARES provides support for individuals with disabilities throughout Victoria and New South Wales.

With our national head office based in Highett, our organisation is dedicated to supporting people with a disability, the aged and their carers. We provide a range of different services, including personal care, supported accommodation, respite, community access, leisure activities and case management. Our philosophy of care provision is based on providing opportunities to enhance the lives of individuals and delivering a seamless level of care.

About the role:

This role, located in our national head office will be apart of a dynamic working environment of which will provide ongoing training and support throughout your career.

You will be responsible for:

  • Building a strong connection with your clients and their families.
  • Assigning staff to clients based on staff qualifications and availability, as well as client preferences.
  • Responding promptly to emails, enquiries and requests from clients
  • Maintaining accurate records of incidents and feedback as required.
  • Reorganising work priorities to meet the needs of a fast-paced environment.
  • Most importantly Supporting NDIS and other clients meet their goals

To succeed in the role:

Mandatory requirements:

  • Relevant qualification and/or;
  • experience in the aged care or disability sectors;
  • Ability to manage a high volume of rostering requirements quickly and efficiently;
  • Excellent computer skills

Highly desirable:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills;
  • Professional phone manner and excellent customer service;
  • Organisational, administrative and time management skills.
     

More Information

Successful applicants will be required to have a current National Police Check and, if relevant to the position, a Working With Children Check and full Drivers Licence. All candidates must have the right to work in Australia.
