We are looking for a passionate and driven Community Partnerships Manager to join our Communities business in WA focusing on our Alkimos Beach project.

Alkimos Beach, Australia’s first 6-star Green star and BeachSAFE community situated in the heart of Perth’s northern coastal corridor has been recognised at the Urban Development Institute of Australia WA (UDIAWA) 2017 Awards for Excellence, winning in the category of Residential Development Over 250 Lots in Western Australia.

In this position, you will have a specific focus on planning, implementation and delivery of the social initiatives for this community whilst ensuring that contractual and business objectives are achieved throughout the various life stages of the planning process. Through your relationships and networks you are expected to identify and facilitate the implementation of new social related infrastructure opportunities, develop a partnership approach with relevant state and local government departments and private organisations and ensure planning and initiatives meet the Communities and broader Lendlease commitments with respect to Social Sustainability.

Key to being successful in this role is your proven ability to build and maintain relationships with different internal and external stakeholders along with qualifications relevant to understanding how to build social infrastructure and social capital in a community, including actual delivery of social initiatives and an understanding of the overall approach to the creation of sustainable communities. A minimum of 5 years experience delivering social infrastructure and initiatives is ideal with a background in Education, Planning (particularly Social Planning) or Recreation.
