An outstanding temporary opportunity has become available with a leading NFP organisation in South East Melbourne! BRC are looking for a experienced Service Manager responsible for management and leadership of a Youth & Mental Health residential service. A social science or allied health degree plus extensive management experience is essential. The focus of the role is to lead coach and support the team to ensure the service meets all requirements and provides an excellent service.
Main duties & responsibilities:
- Provide direct support to consumer as required
- Achieve specific targets for the inclusion of people from CALDS and ATSI communities
- Play a key role in service development, including ongoing evaluation and review of service outcomes
- Lead, coach and mentor your team
- Ability to form relationships with external organisations
- Capability to work effectively as part of a team to meet program goals and objectives
- Ability to work with individuals from diverse and unique backgrounds
- Knowledge and understanding of the recovery and rehabilitation model
Ideal candidate:
- Degree qualified in Social Science, Nursing or other relevant field
- Post graduate management qualification or the completion of relevant training/course
- Extensive management experience and knowledge in Mental Health and Youth services
- The ability to achieve positive outcomes in a recover focused environment
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both written and oral
- Available to start immediately
