We are looking for exceptional people to join us to deliver exceptional service in one of our exceptional teams based in Hume initially working from Craigieburn 2 days per week and Sunbury 2 days.
Working as a ParentsNext Transition Support Coach you will assist parents in planning for future employment. You will help to identify education and employment goals, develop and negotiate a pathway assisting participants to achieve these goals and link them to activities and services in their local community.
You will establish links to community services, have an awareness of the local labour market, local employer’s needs and develop relationships with external stakeholders is critical in this role. As is the ability to coach and bring together individuals and encourage group dynamics that will draw upon the individuals’ strengths, experiences and knowledge. This will benefit group work where members can support, encourage and plan together based on their potential common circumstances
An attractive employment package including salary, access to a company pool vehicle for business use and superannuation will be offered to the successful applicants.
This position will be employed on a part-time .8 maximum term contract working to 30 June, 2021 with the view to extend past this point subject to ongoing contract operation.
