The Uniting Church in Australia was formed in 1977, with the amalgamation of the Presbyterian, Methodist and Congregational Churches. 

The Uniting Church in Australia, Presbytery of WA is seeking to appoint a new member to the current Uniting Generations team. As part of the implementation of the Intergenerational Ministry Model (known as Uniting Generations), the Presbytery of Western Australia would like to offer a full-time equivalent (FTE) ministry position for a period of 3 years, (subject to review after two years).

The Uniting Generations vision is for a church where people of all ages:

• experience a communal, shared life that is fully inclusive, so that people of all ages and in all stages of life may share the journey in our church together,
• have a shared experience of acceptance and a sense of belonging to one big “Faith Family”,
• may worship together, serve together and serve one another, and
• together experience and affirm the shared identity of “church” – God’s beloved people, the Body of Christ.
