Senior Management Position – National Child Youth Family NFP

Foundations Care Ltd is looking for an exceptional professionally qualified senior practice leader who demonstrates a passion for working to achieve business outcomes under key performance indicators to fulfil a new national role of Therapeutic Practice Leader. Based in NSW (preferred) or QLD (negotiable), this position is a key senior leadership role with primary responsibilities focused on leading the delivery of best practice professional and therapeutic services to children and young people across our operations throughout Australia.

The role will lead therapeutic teams of transdisciplinary and support staff to provide specialist intervention services direct to clients under a clinical governance model with the aim of achieving meaningful and socially valid therapeutic outcomes and permanency goals of children and young people. The Therapeutic Practice Leader position is tasked with strategic operational service delivery, clinical governance and practice, quality assurance, professional service excellence and business and reputational growth. The role will also supervise professional Therapeutic Practice Managers.

You will demonstrate a commitment to evidence-based approaches to supporting children, youth and their families to enhance life outcomes. You will lead and manage professional practice within and across the business area, focusing on the reliable implementation of therapeutic systems, processes and behaviours which lead to improved assessment, quality of life and increased opportunities for the children, young people and their families, carers and communities accessing support from our service.

As a senior manager, you will lead and manage practitioner-staff to meet contract, business and stakeholder requirements in accordance with audit and licensing bodies, Company strategic and operational plans and within the Company Practice Framework. You will ensure and improve performance, productivity, efficiency and profitability of operations through effective method and strategy, including facilitating and supervising staff competency development and undertaking quality review processes. As a scientist-practitioner, you will systematically measure client outcomes and impact of service delivery and utilise this information to review and improve business area systems and processes, so as to more effectively achieve positive outcomes for children and young people receiving support. You will also maintain attention to the evolving practice research literature to identify changing trends, contemporary and new practice approaches and apply this knowledge to drive effectiveness and efficiency across the business area.

We can offer a full-time role at senior level, management and clinical supervision and opportunity for career development, a base salary from $95k plus superannuation, vehicle and full salary sacrifice opportunities, relevant IT and corporate finance support, the opportunity to access flexible work arrangements including work from home – on negotiation. This role requires regular interstate travel.
