We are currently seeking a Caseworker to join our team on a full time basis until 30 June 2019.

As a Caseworker, you’ll be responsible for the immediate and ongoing support of people at risk of or experiencing homelessness, in a way that promotes the clients independence, empowerment and dignity. Key duties include:

  • using intake information and other relevant material to assist ongoing assessment of clients needs
  • developing individualized, goal orientated case plans
  • regular review of case plans with service users
  • documentation of all case manager/client interactions and service interactions

  1. Strong understanding of the needs and issues affective people who are at risk of or experiencing homelessness
  2. Strong knowledge of health and homelessness service systems available to persons experiencing or at risk of homelessness
  3. Strong negotiation, conflict resolution, communication skills
  4. Demonstrated ability to advocate on behalf of clients
  5. Demonstrated competency in casework practices
