We are currently seeking a Caseworker to join our team on a full time basis until 30 June 2019.
As a Caseworker, you’ll be responsible for the immediate and ongoing support of people at risk of or experiencing homelessness, in a way that promotes the clients independence, empowerment and dignity. Key duties include:
- using intake information and other relevant material to assist ongoing assessment of clients needs
- developing individualized, goal orientated case plans
- regular review of case plans with service users
- documentation of all case manager/client interactions and service interactions

- Strong understanding of the needs and issues affective people who are at risk of or experiencing homelessness
- Strong knowledge of health and homelessness service systems available to persons experiencing or at risk of homelessness
- Strong negotiation, conflict resolution, communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to advocate on behalf of clients
- Demonstrated competency in casework practices
