The Organisation

The organisation is a well respected not for profit, supporting a whole range of vulnerable people.

With a large presence nationally, you will be based in the Canberra office.
  
The Role
 
Reporting to the Team Leader and Divisional Manager, you will be a in a small team providing post-crisis support and casework, advocacy and referrals to women and their children after experiencing Domestic and Family Violence (DFV).

You will use your links and local experience to support and ensure the safety of the women and children and hold a client-centred approach to development.


The Successful Candidate:

• You will have had strong experience as a Case Manager in Domestic and Family Violence, with an understanding of gender specific cases
• You will have local links and referral knowledge of different services
• A tertiary qualification within Social Care, Psychology or Counselling is necessary, as well as various checks including working with children and police checks.
• Counselling experience/qualifications
• Excellent communication and rapport building skills 
•
