The MOARS position addresses outcome four of the Northern Territory Domestic, Family and Sexual Violence Reduction Framework 2018- 2018. The position will provide interventions for perpetrators of violence that are timely, effective and evidence based. The aim of the MOARS is to engage perpetrators of violence to address behaviour change and to end their use of violence.
The Domestic, Family and Sexual Violence Reduction Framework 2018-2018
- Increase the safety of women and their children; and
- Improve accountability of men who use Domestic, Family and Sexual Violence and support them to change their behaviour.
The MOARS is part of an integrated response to Domestic, Family and Sexual Violence Reduction Framework involving a wide range of agencies that work together in a co-ordinated way to improve responses to violence and ensuring that women, children and men live free from violence in safe communities and enjoy and benefit from respectful relationships.
The successful candidate will be a highly motivated individual with excellent communication skills who is committed to reducing violence against women and children in Central Australia.
This position requires a satisfactory Police Check and Ochre Card.
