Centacare Family and Relationship Services (CFRS) is part of Centacare in the Archdiocese of Brisbane. Our branches respond to local community needs throughout South East Queensland.
Our Regional Domestic and Family Violence Service has a Senior Practitioner position available, 38 hours per week – based in Maroochydore with outreach to four regional courts. We also work in partnership with Queensland Police, in a co-location arrangement.
QUALIFICATIONS: Relevant tertiary qualifications in Social Work, Psychology, Social or Behavioural Sciences from a recognised tertiary institution or equivalent. A well-developed domestic and family violence practice framework and demonstrated skills and extensive experience in crisis intervention, safety planning, counselling, community education, are essential.
This role will be responsible for the high quality service delivery and senior practitioner supervision and oversight for selected programs of the Regional Domestic and Family Violence Service, within the framework of Centacare Family and Relationship Services mission, vision and values.
A current driver’s licence, current (or eligibility for) Qld Working with Children Check – ‘Blue Card’ and evidence of Australian Work Rights to confirm citizenship or a visa holder is required.

Salary: Level 6 Social Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award level (6.3) starting at $39.8634 per hour plus 17.5% Annual Leave Loading and 9.5% Superannuation
