With Sugarman Australia now approved as an NDIS provider we are constantly on the lookout for Mental Health and Disability Support Workers to support our consumers 1/1 in their family homes, group homes and in the community. We love to meet Support Workers that are invested and passionate about their job and improve the day to day lives and independance of the consumers.
We are especially looking for support workers with the following training: epilepsy, peg feeding, bowel/ enema, midazolam, manual handling and administering medication.
All candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Over 6 months paid experience supporting clients with Cerebral Palsy, Autism, Epilepsy, high needs and challenging behaviours
- First Aid (dated within 3 years)
- National Police Check (dated within 12 months)
- Working with children check (dated within 12 months)
- Eligibility to work in Australia
- Valid Drivers Licence and vehicle
- Manual Handling certificate
- Minimum cert 3 in either Disability, Community Services, Aged care, Youth or Mental Health
