THE OPPORTUNITY:
We are looking for a motivated and experienced Employment Consultants to join our evolving Disability Employment division in a permanent capacity covering the North Sydney region. This division is best in class and we currently have a number of 5-star DSS rated sites.
This is a fantastic opportunity to diversify your clinical skills across a broad range of service areas. Your role will include:
- Development of employer and local community linkages
- Job Seeking Skills training
- Job Placement Services and Post-Placement Support
- Motivational interviewing / counselling
- Meeting or exceeding KPI targets while maintaining quality
- Liaising with key stakeholders and building strong relationships to facilitate the achievement of business objectives
- Employer consultancy and marketing
As a large provider, we are able to provide administrative support, enabling you to concentrate on the work that you enjoy and provide optimum service delivery to our clients / participants.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE:
Essential
- High levels of enthusiasm and a 'can do' attitude
- Candidate motivation skills
- A high level of communication skills
- Tertiary qualifications in related field of employment services, health, social work, education or disability
- Strong local and community connections
- Experience in reverse marketing
- A professional manner with excellent communication skills
- Current Driver's Licence
- Working With Children’s / Working with Vulnerable people check / Police check
Desirable
- Experience in providing employment services
- Excellent marketing skills
- Experience working in the disability field
- Experience working in collaboration with Mental Health teams and knowledge of The IPS Model
