Fabulous career opening for experienced Community Fundraiser seeking a fresh new career move.

Managing all NSW/ACT community fundraising the role will work very closely with key internal stakeholders including Corporate Partnerships Manager.

 

Responsibilities will include:

  • Manage a portfolio of community events including some high profile long term events
  • Execute on fundraising strategies as agreed with State Board and the national fundraising team
  • Account Manage existing relationships for well-established events
  • Develop & implement a strategic plan to ensure the National Community Fundraising goals and strategies are met
  • Administer and approve community fundraising applications, provide advice and support
  • Attend community fundraising events, representing the organisation and brand
  • Work with the national community fundraising team to ensure compliance and activation of successful national fundraising campaigns
  • Ensure budgets and forecasts are current and achieved
  • Work with the state based Board on future strategy

 

The successful applicant will be able to meet the following criteria:

  • Proven track record working in a Community Fundraising role with Peer to peer experience (Everyday Hero)
  • Superior communication, presentation and influencing skills
  • Track record of meeting and exceeding income targets
  • Capable of building relationships across all levels of the community including Board Members and Senior Executives
  • Reporting and Analysis skills
  • Proactive, tenacious, self-starter and highly self-motivated
  • Proven track record in developing new business and opportunities
  • Ability to prepare grants, well developed written communication skills
  • Able to act autonomously as well as work as part of a team
