About our Client:
We are working on a number of Employment Consultant positions across DES and JA (as well as upcoming Team Leader/ Branch Manager roles) for a range of dynamic, progressive and innovative clients, across Melbourne and broader Victoria
Locations Include but not limited to:
- Melbourne CBD
- Caulfield
- Geelong
- Frankston
- Traralgon
What are your responsibilities:
- Coach, mentor, and guide clients through the process of finding sustainable work
- Work collaboratively with internal teams and management to deliver results
- Manage a small caseload of clients to ensure maximum outcomes can be achieved
- Working with established employer networks to determine job needs and matching clients suitable for positions while also developing your own employer base
- Ensure all administration and compliance for job seeking sessions is noted on case files and maintained to a high quality
- Ensure compliance for all employment and education outcomes are accurate for auditing before lodgement of claims
What are we looking for:
- Minimum 12 months experience in DES, managing a variety of clients within your caseload
- Strong understanding of DES: ESS policies and procedures
- Developed working knowledge of employer engagement strategies, as well as a commitment to PPS during the transition into employment
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to influence decision makers and stakeholders
- Resilience and determination to go the extra mile in finding sustainable outcomes for your clients
- A genuine passion for helping those with the ability to make a difference in the “working world”
