For the first time, the Department for Child Protection (DCP) is broadening the range of acceptable degree qualifications for all child protection worker roles to include Community Services, Social Sciences, Human Services, Health or a related field.
Duties:
The Social Worker (AHP) / Case Manager (PO) is accountable to the Supervisor for:
- Child protection investigations and assessments
- Case management services
- Focused interventions to safeguard children
- Assisting families and working with children

Essential Qualifications: Allied Health Professionals (AHP) require a degree qualification giving eligibility for full membership of the AASW or Professional Officers (PO) require an appropriate degree qualification in Community Services, Social Sciences, Human Services, Health or related field, please refer to the Role Description
