Job Prospects (a division of SYC) is a leading jobactive and Disability Employment Services – Employment Support Service (DES-ESS) provider that works with jobseekers to gain and sustain employment and with employers to recruit and maintain their workforce. Job Prospects provided services to more than 47,700 people of all ages last year.
Job Prospects is now looking for an Employment Consultant to join the Dandenong team.
Duties of the successful applicant will include:
- Reverse marketing jobseekers to employers to achieve sustainable employment outcomes.
- Providing individual case management support and facilitate jobseeker development tailored to overcome their barriers to employment.
- Ensuring timely referral to: Employment opportunities, Vocational training, Work for the Dole Activities and Non-vocational programs.
- Negotiating employment opportunities on behalf of jobseekers by utilising wage subsidies and all other available initiatives to support and sustain long term employment.
- Providing thorough Post Placement Support to employers and jobseekers.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven experience in a successful results driven team is desirable.
- Proven experience in a sales and/or customer contact role is desirable.
- Previous experience in the Employment Services Industry is desirable.
