Working under the direction of the Enrolled Nurse, as a Personal Carer you will be providing person centred, high quality care to our residents
Personal Carer provides assistance to our residents, including bathing, dressing, toileting and other support services depending on the individual residents needs. Engages with our residents to enrich their lives and support their needs, assisting residents who may require specialised care, including dementia care and palliative care.
These casual roles are based at St Mary’s – Raceview Residential Aged Care. Casual opportunities available with a variety of shifts across a 14 day roster
What will you need:
- Cert III qualifications in Aged Care (or equivalent)
- National Police check
- Ability to use computer systems to maintain care records
- Compassion for and understanding of the elderly
- Friendly approachable manner
- Experience working in an Aged Care Facility - Must have Minimum experience 1 year in Aged Care/Personal Carer role.
- Able to have flexibility with shifts and can accept ON-call shifts
- Available to start ASAP
- Competence of medication assist
