An exciting temporary opportunity has become available for a passionate and experienced Team Leader to cover a position for a Aged Care service provider in The Hills. This is a great opportunity to be part of a well established and recognised community based organisation that has been supporting disadvantaged communities for over a century. If you are are a dynamic leader who is passionate about leading a team, aged care and making a difference in the community this might be just the role for you!
Duties
- Providing guidance and leadership to case workers and who are assisting a broad spectrum of aged care clients based in the local community
- Day to day operations to ensure a high level of service is provided
- Sign clients up to the service if required
- Leading a team in holistic client-centred support
- General management of a complex and ambigous enviroment
Essential Criteria
- Diploma or higher level qualifications in Social Work/Social Science/Community Welfare or other relevant field.
- Past experience working with aged care in a leadership role
- Sound knowledge of case management principles
- High social intelligence
- Demonstrated experience in supervisory role and understanding of administrative, accountability and risk management
- Highly developed interpersonal skills with an ability to relate positively and confidently with a wide range of people
- Strong focus on excellent service delivery
- Current NSW drivers licence
