The role:

  • Is integral within the home care operations of this organisation.
  • Leads and operates a portfolio of approximately 130 home care packages and growing!
  • Will drive and implement improved operational and people performance.
  • Covers Western Sydney and the Hills district geographically.
  • Will develop and grow viable home care services, including DVA
  • Will optimise systems and quality processes
  • Reports to the Regional Manager and will collaboratively develop a culture and environment to deliver person centred care
  • Will up-skill a great team including coordinators, admin and finance
  • Works closely with clients and key business partners to support and improve the delivery of services
  • Manages risk and regulatory requirements ensuring safe and compliant environments are enjoyed by staff and clients alike

What you will have to succeed:

  • Strong computer skills are essential as is a flexibility in your approach and willingness to move your team through Organisational change.
  • Experience in case management within a home care / services context.
  • Knowledge of consumer directed care and the ability to develop your team around strong customer service approaches in this competitive market.
  • A Tertiary qualification in social / community services, health, management, human services or related discipline.
  • Capacity to support and grow services through development of partnerships with networks, providers and external stakeholders.
