Do you have a passion for helping people? We’re looking for a Support Worker to join our team at Dalby Supported Accommodation Services.
Your Role
As a Support Worker you’ll be looking after the most important people in our organisation - our clients.
Your tasks will include:
- Monitor and report on the progress of clients.
- Refer clients to agencies that can provide additional help.
- Liaise with appropriate agencies to provide suitable referrals to address the needs of clients where long term or specialised interventions are required.
- Work collaboratively with clients to develop flexible strategies to assist them to achieve their goals.

Role Requirements
- Minimum Diploma of Community Services.
- Knowledge and/or experience in a strengths based practice framework.
- Experience working with individuals and families at risk of homelessness or homeless; and women and children escaping domestic and family violence
- Case management experience.
- Knowledge of Domestic Violence and how it impacts on families.
- Current Queensland Manual drivers licence.
- Current National Police Check, prior to commencement

- Where applicable, Disability Services Queensland screening and Working with Children Check will also be required
