CareChoice provide 24 hour support making a variety of different shifts available, including mornings, afternoons, active nights, sleepovers and weekends. We focus on providing the right person, on time, every time so that our clients can rely on us to achieve their goals.
The Role:
We have numerous clients in the Eastern Suburbs with PEG Feeding requirements, as well as their own individual needs. As a Disability Support Worker, you will have experience in the role as well as experience in PEG Feeding. In addition to PEG Feeding your tasks may include but not be limited to the following:
- Home/domestic care
- Personal care
- Behavioural management
- Hoisting
- Bowel care
- Catheter care
- Medication administration
- After school care
- Assisted social outings
Support Worker Profile:

Minimum requirements for this role include:
- PEG Feeding experience is a must
- Previous experience in a similar role
- A clear and current police check obtained within the last six months
- A current First aid - Within 3 years
- CPR certificate - Within 12 months
- A current Working With Children Check (Victorian)
- An international police check (where applicable)
- A current drivers licence
- Ability to engage and build rapport with clients
- Certificate IV in Disability, Certificate III in aged care or equivalent is highly desirable but not essential
