About the position
Located in Camberwell and Kew, Uniting AgeWell seeks experienced Lifestyle Assistants to assist the Lifestyle Coordinator with the implementation and evaluation of activity therapy programs and the development of innovative approaches to meet the individual needs of the residents.
With a Certificate IV (or currently studying) in Leisure and Lifestyle, the ideal candidates will be reliable and adaptable, motivated and committed to the provision of quality care and continuous improvement, and have the capacity to work well autonomously and in a team environment.
Experience in aged care preferred.

About the role
To undertake activity therapy programs with residents.
To assist with assessments of residents cultural, recreational and leisure needs and lifestyle interests.
To participate with the Lifestyle Coordinator in the development of individual care plans for residents.
Skills and experience
Minimum qualification of Certificate 4 in Leisure and Lifestyle or currently undertaking studies towards same
Evidence of further education / studies relevant to activities therapy or allied health related areas
Experience in safety in the Aged Care or Health Sectors
Experience and knowledge in residential aged care with a commitment to high standards of care for residents and their families.
