This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified, experienced and motivated professional clinician to join our Sunshine team.

About the role
Reporting to the Senior Manager Western Region, your responsibilities include providing individual and group clinical supervision to staff at the centre, making professional judgements, offering feedback, support and challenging staff to ensure continuous improvement. In doing so, you will assist the Centre Manager to provide effective and efficient high quality services and programs in alignment with RAV’s contractual obligations and strategic direction.

 

Skills, experience and qualifications:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Psychology, Social Work, Counselling or related discipline.
  • Qualifications and demonstrated previous experience undertaking clinical supervision in a similar working environment and supervising a similar number of staff as required for this position.
  • The equivalent of five years full—time supervised experience in practice area.
  • Experience in working with Family Violence, Mental Health, Child Protection and relevant service sectors.
  • Eligibility for membership of a professional body (APS, AASW or appropriate organisation) is highly desirable.

This role is based in our Sunshine centre.  RAV centres are open, depending on client demand and operational requirements on late evenings and Saturdays. For this role, you will be required to work Tuesday evening.
