Ideally you come from a tenancy management or social housing background and understand the issues surrounding those affected by housing and homelessness.
You will be responsible for:
- All aspects of tenancy management including; managing vacancies, sign ups, ingoing and outgoing inspections, rent review, rent arrears and transfers
- Preparing for and attending NCAT hearings
- Liaising with tenants and the Assets team to ensure properties are maintained
- Identifying and referring tenants to support providers and promoting tenant engagement programs
- Responding to tenant inquiries, complaints and appeals
- Accurately recording all tenant information in the tenant management system.

- Your experience in tenancy management with a focus on how you have supported clients who are disadvantaged, vulnerable or with multiple and complex needs.
- Your knowledge and experience with using tenancy management systems
- Your knowledge of the Residential Tenancy Act and experience with representation at the NSW Civil and Administrative Tribunal (NCAT)
- Your ability to meet arrears, vacant, void and other KPI's
To ensure your success in this role you must have:
- Minimum of 2 years property and tenancy management experience
- Cert IV in Social Housing or equivalent work experience
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- A commitment to excellence in service delivery and customer satisfaction
- A belief that safe and affordable housing is a right for everyone
- Excellent relationship management and communication skills
- A resilient and positive nature who demonstrates honesty, integrity and empathy.
