Wurli-Wurlinjang Health Service is an Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisation delivering primary health care and wellbeing services to the Aboriginal people in Katherine and surrounding communities. Wurli prides itself on delivering a range of health services to the community in a style and manner that makes clients fell welcome and comfortable. Services include acute and general care, chronic disease, men's health, alcohol and other drugs, social and emotional wellbeing and client support services.   

Wurli Health Services has experienced significant growth in services provided over the last year and has identified the need for a new position and a suitably qualified, strong and committed leader to join our Management team.  This new leadership position, Corporate Services Manager, will work in in partnership with the Executive and Management team to provide a high level of Corporate Services support and quality management to assist ensure Wurli achieves success within agreed strategic goals and accountability frameworks.

The Corporate Services Manager will be responsible for the management and coordinator of the following key areas:-

  • Finance
  • Governance and Compliance (ISO)
  • Corporate / Business administration
  • Information and Communication Technology Support
  • Communications  and Public Relations

This position is diverse in nature and is required to not only provide effective internal services support, but to lead and motivate a small team responsible for an array of corporate support services.

This is a fantastic opportunity to take on a new leadership challenge within a client focused, passionate and expanding organisation.  

Applicants must be able to demonstrate:-

  • Relevant Tertiary Qualification (Commerce, Business Finance or related discipline);
  • 3+ years of relevant corporate finance management and /  or similar position
  • Previous experience with management of the payroll function
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of governance and compliance
  • Demonstrated knowledge of ISO 9001: 2015 requirements and CQI  processes
  • Previous experience in managing a small team and a range of support business services
  • Excellent administrative skills, system development  and record keeping processes
  • A genuine passion for providing  exceptional customer (internal)  service and support
