The Role
The purpose of this position is to provide support to the Transition to Work team to assist the team to manage the Transition to Work (TTW) caseload effectively and compliantly. The Youth Liaison Officer’s role provides regular high level post placement support to contribute to the ongoing performance of the TTW program.
Selection Criteria
The successful applicant will possess:
- Qualifications in Youth Work or Community Services or experience in a similar industry is desirable.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Demonstrated written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with at-risk young people from diverse backgrounds.
- The ability to contribute in a team environment and work towards a common goal.
- Knowledge of current support agencies/programs for young people in Perth specifically the South East Metropolitan corridor.
- Current Working With Children Check
- Police Clearance
- Current driver’s licence
