Fundraising and Marketing Officer
Fixed Time - 2 Years - Full Time
The Women's is Australia’s leading independent specialist hospital for women, dedicated to improving the health and wellbeing of women of all ages and cultures, and new born babies. The Women’s Foundation supports the hospital by raising funds to deliver research, new equipment and innovative programs for women and newborn health.
The Women's Foundation team is small and ambitious about meeting our shared goal of increasing our annual fundraising targets. Our focus is on delivering impact for our donors and the women and newborns they want to help. The Fundraising and Marketing Officer is responsible for delivering specific fundraising projects, events and activities working closely with our past patients, staff, volunteers and members of the public keen to support women's health programs.
Your duties will include (but are not limited to) the following:
- Responsibility for successfully delivering specific projects such as the annual Mother’s Day fundraising campaign.
- Promotion of and supporting fundraisers undertaking peer to peer fundraising activities such as Run Melbourne and other self-run fundraising events via Everyday Hero.
- Responsibility for organising events for donors to thank and further involve them in our work.
In this role you will need to have:
- Experience in successfully supporting others to raise funds from sponsored events and community fundraising activities.
- Experience planning and running successful events for customers, donors or stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to meet agreed fundraising targets.
