The position :
This is an ongoing program 24hr a day, 7 days a week. in Torrens, ACT. The successful worker will be someone with the flexibility to work short and long shifts and at times covering for other team members.
The shifts :
The shifts currently available are:
- Monday : 24 hrs
- Tuesday : 24 hrs
- Wednesday: 24 hrs
- Thursday: 24 hrs
- Friday: 24 hrs
- Saturday: 24 hrs
- Sunday: 24 hrs
Essential:
- First Aid Certificate
- Driver's Licence and willing to drive disability vehicle is essential
- Personal Care experience
- Experience in community care
- Practical, active and caring personality
Desirable:
- Certificate III or IV in Aged Care, Disability or Community Services
- Experience working with a spinal cord injury
- Experience using a hoist
- Experience in bowel care

All appointments will be conditional upon a satisfactory Federal Police Check, and a Working With Children Check.
