Situated in Melbourne’s eastern suburbs, Waverley Country Club is an independent living Over 55’s lifestyle retirement village located in Rowville.
The village is currently seeking enthusiastic, committed and reliable Emergency Response Attendants to join the team on a part-time basis. Your role will generally include onsite response to Village emergency calls, with some further requirement to perform café/bar service and housekeeping tasks. Although not finalized, shifts will generally be scheduled during the following timeframes;
- 5pm - 9pm (Monday to Friday)
- 10:30am - 4pm (Weekends)
This position will require the incumbent to work between five to seven shifts per fortnight on a rotating roster.
With a commitment to providing exceptional customer service, the successful candidate will have proven experience in dealing with the elderly along with the ability to make critical decisions in relation to emergency call outs from residents with a professional and positive approach to work to ensure that all residents’ needs are met in accordance with Lendlease standards and Resident Committee requirements.
To be successful you must have;
- Current Level 2 First Aid Certificate ideal (or be willing to obtain one)
- Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate (or be willing to obtain one)
- Strong customer service focus and a genuine interest in working with the elderly.
- Highly motivated and able to take initiative.
- General Administration and Hospitality skills.
