Are you a Child Safety Practitioner/Case Manager looking for a change? You will work with a small case load within a team of experienced and supportive practitioners.
Whitsunday Counselling and Support Inc is a Whitsunday QLD based organisation. We are a team of dedicated individuals working to support DFV victims and reduce DFV in our community through education, counselling and support. We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced professional to join our dedicated team of professionals.
You will provide culturally appropriate intensive case management and practical support for vulnerable families who have children and young people aged 0 - 18 years referred to the service from Children Safety Service Centres (CSSC) or Family & Child Connect Services (FACCS). You will work directly with clients to develop and implement Family Support Plan which will be designed to collaborate into one plan and build on support networks, strengthen connections to family and community, encourage positive decision making and promoting safety and wellbeing.
A tertiary level degree in Social Work, Counselling, Social or Behavioural Sciences is a minimum as well as three years in a similar role working with vulnerable young people and their families. Applicants will need to hold or be willing to obtain a QLD Blue Card.
This is a permanent full time position; it is a level 4 position (Social Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award 2010-SACS)
