About the role
The program will be required to provide an efficient, high quality, and comprehensive service to Adults 18 and up on Corrections orders residing in Gippsland. The program is a comprehensive mental health and broader health evidence-informed service.
Service delivery will commence in October 2018 and this role, under the guidance of an executive, will support the implementation of the program.
Key Objectives
- Develop an dimplement the program
- Develop a project plan (including identifying risks and mitigation strategies) to ensure service is operational by 1 October 2018. This will include a considered approach of transitioning operational responsibility to the Program Manager within an agreed time frame.
- Develop and finalise service agreements with partners across the Gippsland catchment.
- Clarify targets, reporting, and evaluation requirements and work with research and evaluation officer and partners to identify how these requirements can be operationalised.
- Source and document operational processes that are aligned with the aims of the program and finalise these with the partners.

Skills and experience
In order to be considered for this role you will require the following;
- Proven experience in leading and managing projects across multiple new agencies
- Background in a sector with a focus on clients with complex needs
- Well developed people management, leadership, and communication skills, including the capacity to successfully manage difficult situations.
- Bachelor's Degree in a health related discipline (e.g. social work, medicine, nursing, allied health), or relevant field.
- Experience working in a health service in a clinical role
- Enthusiasm for developing and coordinating complex projects in a large institution
