The opportunity

Silver Chain Group has an immediate opportunity for a suitably qualified Quality Assurance professional to join the team in Osborne Park.  This newly created full-time permanent role will report through to the Group Manager, Capability and Excellence.

 

This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Quality Manager to play a key role in establishing this newly created function.

 

Key responsibilities

The primary objective of this role is to provide strategic, operational and thought leadership to support the provision of best care to every person every time by actively promoting, supporting and embedding a culture of client safety.

 

Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to providing leadership and direction to a team of 5 direct reports, contributing to the development of, and execution of the strategic quality plan in line with Best Care Culture and the four key goals of personal, safe, effective and connected care delivery.

 

Accountabilities will include the overall management of quality improvement systems including accreditation processes by working closely with Business Units, Group Managers and Executive Team to identify and establish business improvement opportunities.

 

About you

To be considered for this role, candidates must demonstrate previous experience leading and promoting quality and safety initiatives and business improvements, analysing, evaluating and maintaining large volumes of data

 

Your excellent written communication skills will allow you to effectively write reports and present findings to inform decision making at senior management level and Board Committees, your outstanding verbal communication skills will allow you to successfully negotiate, influence and collaborate with a broad range of stakeholders across the business.

 

As a subject matter expert, you will possess a Tertiary qualification in quality and/or a health-related discipline along with previous experience leading, implementing and maintaining National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards, Aged Care Standards and Industry accreditation.

 

Under the Aged Care act 1997, successful candidates will be required to provide a satisfactory National Police Clearance prior to commencement.
