Drake Medox are seeking a compassionate and experienced disability support workers for our client based in Coogee.

This is a great opportunity to make a difference in an individual’s life and their families life.

Your positive attitude as well as client respect will be the most important aspect of your role. 

The role consists of the following:

• Supporting a client who suffered multiple strokes

• Personal Care and Domestic Assisatance

• Supporting a client to achieve the very best in life and helping them work towards their goals - Art and Social outings

To join this team you will have the following as a minimum:

• Australian Drivers Licence (mandatory)

• National Criminal Check

• First Aid Certificate

• Current working with children’s check (paid work clearance)

• 12 months experience working in Disability/Aged Care

• 2 relevant reference checks

• Australian Work Rights Verification

To be considered for this role you must hold the following skills as a minimum

• Manual Handling Experience

• Experience with a pelican belt

• Working with people with strokes

• Willing to assist in the time of need

• Patience and compassion with family members
