This is an exciting opportunity for a person with initiative and an interest in working with Seniors. You will be responsible for duties which provide transport services to Village Residents and some general maintenance as required.
This challenging but rewarding role requires a self-starter who is keen to make a difference and has an interest in our war veterans. The ability to communicate effectively with the elderly, disabled and handicapped residents will be highly valued. You must be physically fit for loading and unloading a wheelchair bus and carrying out maintenance duties.
Attributes:
- Current manual driver’s licence – MR required
- Ability to work within a small team or autonomously
- Computer Skills
- First Aid Certificate (or willing to obtain one)
- Some experience with building maintenance and repairs
- Understanding of electronic control devices
- Police Background Check
- Understanding of WHS practices
