Healthcare Australia are recruiting passionate Disability Support Workers in South Sydney to provide 1:1 care and support to people who live with disabilities both in-home and in the community.

This is a casual role - it will involve casual shifts only, with the opportunity of ongoing shifts for the right candidate. We also have 24/7 telephone support, a comprehensive app in which you can update you timesheets and availabilty, and a dedicated Consultant to work along with you and your NDIS participant.

Roles and responsibilities:

• Assisting with daily living skills such as personal care and domestic assitance
• Promoting independence and capacity-building to achieve their goals
• Aiding them to access the community and recreational activities

You will be specifically supporting the independence of a young male in his 20's living in Epping. The perfect candidate will promote his independence, help him to develop his communication skills, and improve his social interactions by accessing the community.


Essential criteria:

• 6+ months paid experience in supporting clients with disabilities 
• You MUST have verifiable experience
• 20+ hours of availability a week 
• Current First Aid & CPR Certificate 
• Current driver's license and own vehicle
• Current Police Check
• Working with Children Check
