We are currently seeking passionate, energetic and experienced Disability Support Workers who also have experience working with Mental Health to provide individual support in a number of East Melbourne areas.
As a Support Worker, you will assist the people we support to develop key lifestyle skills such as cooking, craft, social interaction and help them to engage with their local community. You will be responsible for assisting individuals work towards their goals, assist with activities and routines, the provision of personal hygiene along with the administration and management of medication.
We have a variety of locations we provide support
- Mooroolbark
- South Vermont
- Box Hill
- Hawthorn
To be successful, you must have:
- Current "Provide First Aid Certificate" (Or be willing to obtain)
- Formal qualifications in Disability, Community services or welfare will be advantageous
- Working with Children Check for Victoria
- Driver's Licence
Desirable for the role:
- Previous experience supporting people with a disability
- Previous experience working with Mental Health
