Recovery Partner - Community Mental Health

About the Role

Southern Cross Care is looking for passionate and reliable Recovery Partners to join our Community team across the Perth metropolitan area on a casual basis. 

The key function of this role involves working alongside individuals through their recovery journey to live life more independently through the development and implementation of innovation, person-centred strategies. You will work closely with key stakeholders to deliver appropriate activities to support recovery while referring clients to external community resources where required and ensuring all interactions with individuals are recovery focused.

 

The ideal candidate we are looking for will have:

·         A solid understanding of recovery principles and a willingness to apply a recovery-oriented and person-centred approach

·         Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

·         Current “C” class WA drivers licence

·         Ability to develop and maintain professional relationships and build rapport with clients and stakeholders

 

Candidates who hold a Certificate IV in Mental Health, Community Services and/or tertiary qualification/s in relevant field will be highly regarded. A current First Aid Certificate and previous industry experience is also highly desirable.
