The Role
Council’s Plan defines clear strategic objectives which support the development of inclusive, safe and connected communities driven by community needs. This role will assist with the managing of opportunities for the community to be healthy, active and connected through the provision of high quality and responsive leisure facilities.
Reporting to the Team leader Leisure Facility Management, you will administer and assist with the management of Council’s contracts for aquatic facilities, stadia facilities and the shed indoor skate park.
This role will act as the liaison between Council and Facility Managers on a day to day concern, including: contract compliance and supervision, OHS issues, property damage, customer complaints, capital works and maintenance issues..
About You
You will have excellent communication skills and will be able to demonstrate your ability to maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at various levels. You will be familiar with working within set budgets, be able to work well within timelines and be able to prioritise your work activities. You will have previous experience working in a leadership role and a relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience in leisure or related field.
