• Permanent Role - 50 hours per fortnight

 We currently have a permanent part time opportunity (50hours per fortnight) for a Community Support Worker to join our house in the ACT.

About the role:

• Actively support residents using a Person Centred focus, to enable them to increase their independence and achieve their personal goals.
• Demonstrate excellent verbal communication and organisational skills to be able to take on a Key Worker role.
• Organise, provide support with attendance and follow up on medical and health appointments. Complete relevant documentation and reporting.
• Arrange meetings and activities for the residents of the house,
• Report to the house manager and the resident's family, facilitating relationships.
• Support residents in their own home and in the community with tasks such as personal care, cleaning, meal planning and preparation and outings.
• Demonstrate a contemporary attitude towards people with disability, including professionalism and integrity

 Must have:

• Driver's Licence
• Working With Vulnerable People Card
• First Aid Certificate
• Certificate III or IV in Disability or willingness to obtain 
• Intermediate to advanced computer skills using Microsoft Office and other relevant programs.
