Our highly enthusiastic team at NORTEC Employment and Training in the Ipswich Office, coach and support our diverse range of job seekers through a journey to sustainable employment. They are seeking a Work Advisor/Activity Management Officer to join the team!

As a Work Advisor/Activity Management Officer you will be responsible for;

  • Actively engaging and supporting job seekers, ensuring meaningful commitment throughout the complete job seeking process.
  • Ensuring all activity and hours are appropriately recorded, documented and adhere to compliance and contractual requirements.
  • Identify potential job placement opportunities for candidates in the Work for the Dole Phase.
  • Liaising with volunteer organisation hosts to place candidates into activities
  • Tracking activity management by ensuring candidates are referred to appropriate activities and recording participation accurately and in accordance with contractual requirements
  • Ensuring candidates entering and exiting the Work for the Dole phase are actioned accordingly.
  • Monitoring Work for the Dole activities and exit candidates on completion

Previous experience in a similar role will be looked upon favourably but is not essential.
